Open Casting Call

Curtis Collins was born 1969. He is a proud father of four and celebrates being married to Kelley Causey for 22 years. He currently lives in Estero where he works for South Florida Milling, but was born in Selma, Alabama and was raised in Wooster, Ohio.
He graduated from Wooster Senior High School and obtained his Associates Degree in Business Management at the University of Ohio. It was at the University of Ohio that Mr. Collins got his start in
writing he states, “I wrote my first screen play during my freshmen year and have been writing scripts ever since.”

Although he has not successfully translated any of his screen plays to film, it’s not from a lack of trying. “I am a screen writer by nature but a director at heart.” His favorite mantra is…Dreams are just that unless you chase them. He plans on chasing this one through to fruition. Mr. Collins has always been fascinated by film from an early age. “It was the creativity of it, and the ability to manipulate emotions…to make someone laugh or cry.” “That is art in its true form and this is why I want to be a film maker.”
