Fort Myers students receive day of encouragement

FORT MYERS, Fla. – Motivational speaker Reggie Dabbs visited high school seniors a few months before graduation.

Dabb was joined by local lawyers, entrepreneurs and the general manager of Miracle Baseball, Andrew Seymour. The purpose of Dabb’s visit was to encourage seniors to pursue their dreams.

One student, Ahumri Manual said people doubt him but the speech helped gear him toward success.

“Everybody has a story, so you can’t try to put yours above everybody else’s because when you look at your situation, there’s people that has worse situations than you, so just try to make a brighter future for yourself,” he said.
