PINE ISLAND, Fla. – For two decades now, the Greater Pine Island Chamber of Commerce has been throwing their annual tropical fruit fair, Mango Mania and this year is no exception.
Celebrating 20 years, Mango Mania is now bigger and better than ever with more than 120 vendors and two days of mango everything. Pine Island is Florida’s largest island and home to some of the freshest mango’s around. The festival includes: mango tasting, mango pie eating contest, tropical plant sales, 50/50 raffles and much more.
In addition food vendors will also serve up anything and everything mango, from mango fish tacos to mango BBQ shrimp and much more. Live entertainment will take the main stage, both Saturday and Sunday, July 16th and 17th. Tickets are $6 at the gate or $5 in advance at the chamber office.
