IMMOKALEE, Fla. — A Naples resident died after the car he was driving ran off Oil Well Road and into a tree Monday, Florida Highway Patrol said.
Lawrence Earl Korb, 87, failed to negotiate a curve in the road about a mile east of Pringle Lane while he was headed eastbound in a 2014 Buick LaCrosse at about 2:45 p.m., according to FHP.
He was taken to Lehigh Regional Hospital and pronounced dead from his injuries at about 5:20 p.m. No further information is available.
