FORT MYERS, Fla. — An SUV swerved off the road and nearly crashed into a home on Clotilde Avenue Tuesday night. The car slammed into a tree and knocked into the concrete porch of a home, narrowly missing the front door. Fort Myers police said the driver tried to walk away from the scene after the crash but police were able to capture him. The man has not currently been identified.
