LAS VEGAS – The Culinary Workers Union is fed up with Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s antics.

So it is responding with free food and a “wall” of taco trucks.

The group is planning a rally outside the Trump International Hotel Las Vegas to demand better treatment of employees and protest against a Trump presidency.

A flier for the rally reads “Bad Bosses Make Bad Presidents” and “Build a wall at Trump Las Vegas.” The rally is scheduled for Wednesday, which is the same day as the final presidential debate between Trump and Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton. Protesters began erecting the wall of taco trucks as early as Tuesday morning, according to local media reports.

In September, the founder of Latinos for Trump, Marco Gutierrez, warned of a proliferation of taco trucks on “every corner” if Clinton is elected president. His off-the-wall statement became the fodder of humorous online commentary and inspired #tacotrucksoneverycorner. Culinary Workers Union continued the spin on Gutierrez’ remarks with its food truck-centric rally.

It is the largest union in Las Vegas, according to the local chapter’s Facebook page.
