PUNTA GORDA, Fla. At least one person was injured in a crash Saturday on Tamiami Trail at Richmond Street, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The crash happened at around 2:26 p.m. at 11161 Tamiami Trail, the FHP said. The southbound lanes of Tamiami Trail were completely shut down, but reopened shortly before 4 p.m.
The circumstances leading up to the crash and the extent of injuries are unclear at this time.
