LABELLE, Fla. One shelter will remain open Monday, according to county officials.
Hendry County and the American Red Cross will be opening a single consolidated shelter at 4:00 p.m. at the LaBelle Civic Center on 481 West Hickpochee Ave.
The shelter is intended for residents whose homes sustained damage that would prevent them from moving back home, county officials said. Evacuees are advised to bring extra food, blankets and clothing.
