Storm debris pickup postponed on Marco Island

MARCO ISLAND, Fla. Storm debris pickups were stopped Sunday on the island due to flooding, officials said.

The roads leading to the dump site were flooded and the county is working to fix the issue, city officials said. It’s unclear when collections will resume.

Storm debris pickups originally resumed Friday, more than two weeks after the hurricane hit Southwest Florida.
