ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WTSP) Yorgo’s Foods is recalling its Greek-style food products because of a possible risk of listeria contamination. Two Trader Joe’s products manufactured by the company also are recalled. The products are sold in stores nationwide. A routine FDA sample discovered listeria bacteria in one sample of “Original Tahini Sauce,” according to a news release on the FDA website. Most of the products were distributed in 8, 12, 16 and 32-ounce plastic cups or 2 and 5-pound plastic bags. It’s advised all products should be thrown away or returned to the grocery store of purchase for credit. Anyone with questions can call the company at 603-624-5830 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. See the FDA website for all product photos.
