Late Saturday a person walking across a highway was struck by a vehicle and killed in Naples, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
According to FHP, the person walked across Highway 41 into the path of the vehicle just after 10 pm.
The pedestrian was transported in critical conditions to NCH Downtown and later passed away.
No other injuries were reported.
