This impact caused the Buick to spin and hit the front of a black car at a stop sign on Hickory. The impact caused little damage to the black car, but there were minor injuries.

According to FHP, seven other crash victims were taken to the hospital to treat minor injuries. One passenger was not injured.

Northbound lanes on U.S. 41 are closed near the crash with one open. Drivers are advised to seek an alternate route.
