
Two people were killed in a traffic crash on I-75 in North Port Friday morning, according to North Port Police.
According to FHP, the driver of a motorcycle, Bruce Alan Petrezlka, 59, and passenger Virginia Kae Petrezlka, 56, both from Norway, Iowa, were killed after veering off the roadway, for unknown reasons, and crashing into a tree.
The driver and passenger were not wearing helmets and FHP determined alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
