Photo courtesy of Lee County Sheriff’s Office. Lee County Sheriff’s Office arrested two suspects after deputies found illegal narcotics in a vehicle during a traffic stop. According to the LCSO Facebook post, deputies stopped a vehicle due to the driver not wearing his seat belt. Deputies smelled illegal narcotics inside the vehicle and saw a weapon. Both the driver and passenger were detained, and an investigation began. Inside the vehicle, deputies found an “AK pistol, an AR pistol and illegal narcotics.” The driver and passenger were both arrested and transported to the Lee County Jail.
