Residents in Sanibel and Fort Myers Beach may have been startled by a helicopter flying over the area Tuesday night as law enforcement was searching for a burglary suspect.
Lee County Sheriff’s office says the burglary happened off McGregor Boulevard.
LCSO confirmed they were using the chopper to locate a suspect they believed was in the area.
The burglary is still being investigated.
