Florida Highway Patrol Troopers says they arrested a man following an investigation into a hit and run traffic crash on Monday at approximately on the southbound entrance ramp to I-75 from Colonial Boulevard in Fort Myers.
Obed Morales Moya , 34, was arrested once the investigation determined that the right front of Moya’s 2005 Toyota struck the left rear of a 2013 BMW on the entrance ramp.
Morales stayed on scene briefly, then fled in the Toyota, traveling south on I-75 toward Naples, Florida.
Troopers later located Morales at his place of employment in Naples and arrested him for leaving the scene of a traffic crash involving injury.
The driver of the BMW was transported to Gulf Coast Hospital, their injuries are unknown.
