Lindsey’s lesson: PBS for Parents

Monday’s “Lindsey’s lesson” is an oldie but a goodie. PBS has been there for decades for our children and now they are making it easy\ier than ever for kids to keep learning while they’re at home.

They have featured activities on their website, but they take it one step further: You can pick the age range of your child, two to eight, a then pick a topic, such as math or emotions, social skills, and character.

You can even choose what kind of activity you want.

Lindsey did this fun activity with her kids and chose ages four to six and the emotions category.

You can see all the games that pop up. A touchscreen is easier to use than a typical computer because there are a lot of drag and drop games that can be difficult for younger kids to maneuver with a mouse.

You can also sign up for the daily newsletter where you get tips and activities to help with kids learning while not in school.

For more information and to try it out with your kids, visit the PBS for Parents website here.
