The City of Fort Myers will reopen some trails Wednesday.

Reopening are North Colonial Linear Trail, John Yarbrough Linear Park Trail and Billy Creek Preserve at Filter Marsh.

The city said those using the trails must follow CDC guidelines on social distancing.

Parking lots will remain closed, as will many other city facilities, including city parks, pavilions, playgrounds, pools, recreation centers and sports fields.

City leaders are working with the county and state health officials in a phased approach to reopen sites.
