There is an active death investigation underway on Golfside Village Drive in Lehigh Acres. Neighbors say they heard loud noises coming from the home earlier on Tuesday. “I heard a Big Bang, a big noise, and I went to look to see if I could see anything,” said Ray Tetreault who lives a few houses down from the scene. “It was very loud like someone dropped a big air conditioner or something off a roof,” Tetreault added. Ray Tetreaultt said he then heard another loud noise, “I went back into the garage and about 45 seconds later I heard another Big Bang. And then the next thing you know, about an hour later the police showed up.” Another neighbor down the street claims to be friends with one of the residents of the home but says deputies on the scene would not tell her what was going on. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office says there’s no immediate threat to the public. This scene is still under active investigation.
