FHP is investigating a fatal crash in North Fort Myers.
Officers say a car collided with a bicycle at the intersection of North Tamiami Trail and Bayshore Road in North Fort Myers. They say that the man on the bike traveled into the car’s path and that’s when the car struck him.
The bicyclist died on the scene. The southbound lanes of North Tamiami Trail were blocked but are now back open.
