Few showers, storms along a cold front Friday morning

Published: Updated:

Happy Tuesday, Southwest Florida! Get ready for a warm and sticky day as highs reach the mid-upper 80s.

Wind will become breezy this afternoon, cranking up our wave heights to 1 – 3 feet and the occasional moderate chop.

Our next big change comes late Thursday and into early Friday morning along a cold front, which is the tail end of a storm system pushing significant severe weather across portions of the Deep South.

The Storm Prediction Center currently has us in a marginal risk (1/5) to see strong-to-severe storms Friday morning.

A lot can change between now and then, so trust the WINK News Weather Authority team to keep you updated with any changes and local impacts!
