The Charlotte County school district will discontinue its Innovative e-Learning platform for the next school year.

Michael Riley, a spokesman for the school district, told WINK News students can enroll in Charlotte Virtual School if families wish to continue attending from home.

The news comes a day after the School District of Lee County announced it was also getting rid of Lee Home Connect, the online learning platform used during the pandemic.

Students in Lee County can choose to enroll in Lee Virtual School if they don’t want to return to in-person classes.
