Naples ranked among top cities for senior health

The Mesothelioma Center ranked Naples as one of the top five best cities for seniors’ health.

It looked at the total population of seniors, average retirement income, how many senior centers are in the area and the average life expectancy.

A couple we spoke to says they feel younger just living in Naples.

“I think we have added years to our life by moving to Naples,” Bobbie Schuster said. “It energizes us, and we want to be more active.”

The top ranked place for seniors to live was Truckee, California.

“Everything we really do is about extending and having a happier, healthier life,” said Jaclynn Faffer with Naples Senior Center.
