It’s mid-December, but it’s going to feel like a summer day with heat and humidity dominating Southwest Florida this weekend. In fact, it’s going to be so warm Sunday that we’ll approach our record high of 88 in Fort Myers. As far as this Sunday goes, expect high temperatures to soar into the mid to upper 80s, with a mixture of sun and clouds, high humidity, along with the potential for a stray shower in the afternoon. Looking ahead to the work week, the heat won’t be going anywhere with highs staying in the 80s each day. Additionally, a spotty shower will be possible each day with sun and clouds, and humid conditions. It may not be until Christmas week until we see another cold front.
