With the help of Animal Help Now, Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is able to increase the cash reward up to $7,000 for any information that leads to the arrest of the person or people responsible for killing a nursing mother dolphin on March 24.

“This was an abominable act, and the person or persons responsible need to be brought to justice,” said David Crawford, the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Animal Help Now, which is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. “The fact that the victim was lactating is simply heartbreaking.”

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-8477. Tips may also be made online or on the P3Tips mobile app. Tipsters will remain anonymous. Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $3,000 for information on this case, and Animal Help Now has pledged another $4,000 towards the reward.
