Monday brings record heat under partly cloudy skies

High temperatures will reach the upper 80s in many locations after patchy morning fog. Humid conditions will make a few of our “feels like” temperatures reach the 90s during peak heating. Boaters will experience a pleasant day on the water. One- to 2-foot Gulf wave heights and light-to-smooth chop in our bays are in our forecast.

While we will experience partly cloudy conditions, rain is not expected. Southwest Florida will likely remain dry until Friday. Plan on more record-setting or near-record heat during this stretch.
