High temperatures soar back into the lower-to-mid 90s again Thursday afternoon. Areas like Fort Myers are expected to break the daily high-temperature record for the third day in a row with a high of 94 degrees.

Rain chances include a few showers, generally focused along the I-75 corridor and tracking westward along the coast throughout the evening.

Expect a few spotty showers to pop up during the afternoon and a more sufficient, isolated spread of heavier showers between Collier and Lee counties beginning around 6 p.m. and continuing through the evening.

BOATERS: Expect 1- to 2-foot wave heights, light chop in the bays and winds out of the southeast before transitioning to come out of the south.
