Credit WINK News. A patrol car crashed in Charlotte County early Wednesday evening. According to Florida Highway Patrol, the crash happened at the intersection of Taylor Road and Cooper Street in Punta Gorda. The crash happened shortly before 6 p.m. It’s unclear if anyone was hurt as a result of the crash. WINK News will update this article when we have more information.
