Fatal crash in Bonita Springs: Motorcyclist dies on U.S. 41

A fatal crash occurred in Bonita Springs, resulting in the death of a motorcyclist.

The incident occurred on U.S. 41 and Foley Road at around 10:00 p.m. on Saturday night.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the 27-year-old motorcyclist was traveling on U.S. 41 when an SUV entered the intersection, cutting in front of the motorcyclist.

The front of the motorcycle collided with the side of the SUV.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver and passenger of the SUV sustained minor injuries.

The crash is currently under investigation.
