NAPLES, Fla. – A suspect wanted for a 1995 murder in Collier County was booked into jail Friday night. Alfredo Urbino, 43, lost a court battle in Texas fighting extradition to Florida. Urbino was arrested in Texas “sometime in the past year,” a Collier County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman told WINK News. The spokeswoman could not confirm where or why Urbino was arrested in Texas. A wanted post on the CCSO website shows Urbino was wanted for a murder that occurred on April 26, 1995 at 5303 Fleming St. in East Naples. Urbino has a laundry list of fake names including “Pedro Paletta,” “Alfredo Orantes-Canas,” and “Ramon Berrera.” He is now charged with first-degree murder.
