CAPE CORAL, Fla.- Police have released new video of an armed robbery at a local 7-Eleven. The robbery happened around 5:45 a.m. Tuesday at the 7-Eleven located at 720 Chiquita Blvd. North. Police say the suspect entered the store, displayed a firearm to the cashier, and demanded money from the register. The man then ran away with an undisclosed amount of cash toward the southwest corner of the building. Officials describe the suspect as a Hispanic male, medium skin tone, approximately 5-foot-7, medium build, with black scruff/bearded facial hair, possibly in his early 20s. The suspect was wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt, a dark hat, dark shorts and dark colored shoes.
