CAPE CORAL, Fla.- One person was injured overnight in a violent home burglary.
It happened on the 100 block of Southeast 12th Terrace.
Authorities say a break-in quickly turned physical when the victim got out of bed to figure out why a flashlight was shining through his window.
According to authorities, the victim opened his door and came face-to-face with the two suspects, a man and woman.
Police say the suspects entered the home and battered the victim.
