MGN GROVELAND, Fla. (AP) – The state Department of Health says a Lake County doctor has agreed to stop practicing in Florida after his recent arrest for recording under a woman’s skirt. Dr. Akram Ismail was caught Thursday filming up the skirt of a woman in a Groveland Publix store. He later posted a $5,000 bond and was released from jail. Surveillance video from the store showed him placing his phone under the victim’s skirt. The Orlando Sentinel (http://bit.ly/1Kk3FlD ) reports Ismail was previously arrested on charges of hiring a hit man to harm a professional rival. He was found guilty on a lesser charge. Ismail was sentenced to six months in federal prison in 2012 after resisting an air marshal on an Orlando-bound flight. Records don’t indicate whether he’s hired an attorney.
