FORT MYERS, Fla. – Football season is here and WINK along with WXCW are your home to some of the best college and professional games of the season. Before you watch the big game though, you have to make sure your tailgate and game-day party is on point.

The Fort Myers High School Cheer Team, Dicks Sporting Goods and Texas Tony’s joined WINK News This Morning on Thursday, to show you how a tailgate should be thrown. Jimmy Blanke of Texas Tony’s made some easy and simple but still delicious recipes you can try this football season.

First Down Cheese Dip

  • Crab meat
  • Can of Rotel
  • Beer

Melt cheese on stove top and stir in ingredients, serve over chips or in a dip bowl.

Quarterback Baked Beans

  • BBQ Sauce
  • Onion
  • Green Pepper
  • Rib or sausage meet or both
