Bonita Springs man sentenced for 10-year child porn collection

FORT MYERS, Fla. – A Bonita Springs man was sentenced to eight years in federal prison for the distribution of child pornography on Wednesday, authorities said.

Christopher Hall, 45, had more than 2,500 images and nine videos depicting child porn, authorities said. He was sharing them on the internet using multiple computers, the U.S. Department of Justice said.

Hall told authorities he began his collection of the illegal material 10 years ago.

The Federal Bureau of Investigations discovered Hall’s activities then seized his computers, which he was ordered to give up on Wednesday, authorities said.

Another Bonita Springs man was arrested and charged for child pornography earlier this month.
