The number of hit-and run-crashes is on the rise in Southwest Florida. Often, the person responsible is leaving the scene before law enforcement ever shows up.
Now, authorities are hoping to bring those numbers down and bring peace to the families affected by these tragedies. Trish Routte with Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers stopped by the WINK News studio to tell us more.
