
DANIA BEACH, Fla. (AP) – Officials say dozens of dogs have been rescued from a house fire in Dania Beach.
Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue spokesman Mike Jachles tells local media outlets that at least 34 dogs were pulled out of the home Thursday night.
He says one dog was dead, while several others were taken to an animal hospital.
Jachles says responders used dog oxygen masks and gave CPR to some of the animals.
The cause of the fire remains unknown.
