Victims identified in Mother’s Day double shooting

FORT MYERS, Fla. – The victims in a Mother’s Day double shooting are expected to make a full recovery, Fort Myers police said Monday morning.

Antwan Howard, 21, and Antonio Abrams, 20, were taken to Lee Memorial Hospital after being shot on the 3100 block of Edison Avenue at approximately 3:30 p.m. Sunday, police said. Both men suffered non-life threatening injuries and were conscious and responsive, police said.

Investigators have not said what led to the shooting or released any suspect information.
