Credit: MGN FORT MYERS, Fla. — The Collier County branch of the Salvation Army is registering families this week for its annual holiday toy and food distribution program. The Christmas Cheer program provides gifts for children under the age of 12 and for seniors. Those interested in taking part must fill out an online application and bring it to 2355 Vanderbilt Beach Road No. 100 in Naples between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday this week, or between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. Friday. Prospective partcipants should bring a photo ID and proof of Collier County residency, such as a utility bill or a rent or lease receipt. For children, birth certificates and each child’s pant, shift, dress coat and shoe size is also required. For more information, click here.
