Lock your doors, Fort Myers police urge

FORT MYERS, Fla. – Some victims of vehicle theft are wasting law enforcement resources by failing to lock their doors, Fort Myers Police Capt. Jim Mulligan said.

There have been more than 200 vehicle thefts over the last month in Lee County, many of which were preventable, according to Mulligan.
