PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. – More than 5,000 images of suspected child pornography were discovered on computers found in the home of a 25-year-old Port Charlotte man, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement said. Nicholas Berlen was arrested Thursday at his home on 2474 Mockingbird St., where agents seized the computers. He’s facing charges on 20 counts of child porn possession. Some of the images depict children as young as 5 years old, according to the FDLE. Berlen is in custody. No bond has been set.
