Fire destroys structure in Immokalee

IMMOKALEE, Fla. A residential structure caught fire early Wednesday morning on Colorado Avenue, the Immokalee Fire Control District said.

Fire officials took to Twitter to showcase the structural damage of the structure behind the main home:

The blaze began around 5 a.m., and was extinguished just before 6 a.m. according to a tweet.

No injuries were reported and no one was inside at the time of the fire, officials said. However, occupants were inside the main house.

The circumstances leading up to the fire wasn’t immediately clear.
