Five days of film at Fort Myers Beach

FORT MYERS, Fla. Independent film fans and filmmakers alike can enjoy nearly 40 short films at the 11th annual Fort Myers Beach Film Festival.

The five-day event begins at 2 p.m. Wednesday, with films covering a variety of tastes. The festival is touted as a place for attendees to exchange ideas and make new contacts.

The festival will take place from April 26 to April 30 at 6425 Estero Boulevard. Film tickets cost $7.
