Crash shuts down eastbound Cape Coral Parkway

CAPE CORAL, Fla. A crash shut down the eastbound lanes of Cape Coral Parkway East at Palm Tree Boulevard Southeast on Wednesday afternoon, the Cape Coral Police Department said.

The wreck happened at approximately 2:24 p.m., the Lee County Public Safety Department said. It involved a Kia that flipped on its side, a Toyota and a Jeep, witness Randy Reed said.

Drivers are advised to seek an alternate route until 4:30 p.m., police said.
