FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. The United States Coast Guard will be kicking off National Safe Boating Week with an open house.
The fourth annual event begins on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Coast Guard Station on 719 San Carlos Drive. The event is free to the pubic.
Experienced and novice boaters alike are invited to tour the station and response boats, ask questions and learn about how they can stay safe on the water.
