Man found slumped over in vehicle on US 41 at Immokalee Rd.

NORTH NAPLES, Fla. Collier County deputies say they found a man slumped over the wheel of a stopped work vehicle Wednesday afternoon.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene and was taken to the medical examiner’s office, according to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office.

The incident happened on US 41 near Immokalee Road during evening rush hour causing considerable southbound traffic delays.

The circumstances leading up to his death are unclear at this time.
