Cape PD tells drivers to avoid area due to large police presence

A police scene has closed down some roads in Cape Coral, officials say.

According to the Cape Coral Police Department, there is increased police activity in the area of the 1300-block of SE Van Loon Terrace. Drivers are urged to avoid the area if possible.

There are road closures, increased police activity and aviation is in the area, police say.
