Cape Coral Police Department is on scene where a sailboat has struck power lines in the canal of the 5300 block of Bayside Court in Cape Coral.
Police say to avoid the area. The canal and area around the boat crash is blocked due to possible lines down in the water.
According to CCPD, power is restored to the area.
Lee County Electric Cooperative is also responding to the scene the scene.
