Fire crews battled a brush fire just north of Pine Lakes Country Club in North Fort Myers Friday.

Authorities confirmed a power line that came in contact with vegetation started the fire.

As of 5 p.m., the fire was affected 80 acres and 100 percent contained just west of US 41.
