Credit: Google Maps via WINK News. Florida Highway Patrol confirmed a man was killed following a single-vehicle wreck in Lehigh Acres Saturday. According to FHP, driver Trederrick M. Williams, 28, was killed in a crash that happened around 8:30 a.m. at the intersection with Meadow Road and Ray Avenue S (Nobel Avenue S). Williams was traveling westbound on Meadow Rd. in a 2017 Kia Cadenza, approaching the intersection with Ray Ave. S, when FHP says he veered off the roadway to the right and hit a mailbox with the vehicle. The car went back onto the roadway to the left and overturned, causing Williams to be ejected from the car, landing onto the road. The car continued to roll over and came to a final rest on the left shoulder of Meadow Rd. Williams was pronounced dead at the crash. Investigators determined Williams was not wearing a seat belt, and alcohol is pending as a factor in the crash, per the report.
